Rich talks about why fear isn’t our friend in the workplace. Obviously there is plenty to worry about at work, but it behooves us to reduce fear and fear-producing actions in the workplace at much as possible.

I think this video is terrific. The use of consequential language instead of confrontational is the key. The results would show in performance output. Thank you for the stimulus.
Great point! Dr. Deming had urged American business to “drive out fear” years ago. I guess he had intuited what science now is demonstrating. I wonder what other things leaders can do to reduce fear in the workplace? The carrot and the stick have been around for a long time! Yet people can only “volunteer” their absolute best!
